"It was very beneficial for me, and at some points very personal and emotional. I not only learned more about my colleagues in depth, but about myself. It was great. The time just flew. This was the best workshop I've been to."

What this workshop did for me today was validate my
experiences as reality. I truly believe that it is through the sharing of our stories and the true hearing of them from
others, that we will begin to start moving forward towards
a better place.

I would never get to know my co-workers this deeply…this workshop created an environment where the other workers and I had the opportunity to foster and grow. This is a great workshop for us to connect and we will be more productive as a result.

It is a wonder to behold, to bear witness to. I left feeling a renewed sense of competence in being able to facilitate these conversations. But more importantly, I left feeling a part of something bigger...with these skills we equip ourselves with the capacity for racial healing, and healing around many of the other dimensions that divide us - that’s what it’s all about, right!!

I highly recommend this training. Particularly, if you think you are a ‘seasoned’ trainer/facilitator, you will learn from a master what you didn’t know. I look at facilitation in a whole new way - it’s not just about the agenda, it’s about really getting participants to engage and move to a new place.  It is training at the next level.  By far the best diversity training I have ever attended!  I would attend again as there is so much more to learn!

The experience will truly enrich my teaching and my life; it has left me wanting to learn more, listen more...I was able to reflect on and rethink long held beliefs, voice fears and insecurities, and hear from men and women I would otherwise not have an opportunity connect with. The facilitators were very skilled at digging deep, making sense of challenging, intense, raw moments, and giving it meaning - even the scary stuff.

Although I had watched your film The Color of Fear a couple years ago, I was not sure what to expect from you as a keynote speaker. From the moment you started speaking I was intrigued. Unlike a lot of other speakers who merely speak, you captivated the audience and made us think about who we were, what we were doing, and if we were really ready to embrace a multicultural attitude.

I wish we could continue with this type of forum as it is so important for our learning and personal growth.

StirFry offers an opportunity through their dynamic presentation to assist staff to examine assumptions, to learn new perspectives and to truly support and value diversity. . . As educators, we need to continually reshape and reexamine our world so that all of our students can come to the table to talk about issues that affect their lives.

I highly recommend StirFry Seminars & Consulting.  The presenters are well qualified and professional. They discuss the needs of your participants and pattern the presentation to meet those needs.

The interactive process the participants were involved in was an opportunity not offered in our past conferences.

This session proved to be invaluable in meeting the seminar goals and objectives identified. We surpassed my wildest dreams. Thank you for your wisdom, commitment, passion, and skill in making the student’s voice the highlight of the conference, and for allowing us to share your talents with our conference participants and the children. Your presence made this year’s conference an unforgettable event.

I left the session regarding you (Lee Mun Wah) as I would a healer. Through you others gained strength, confidence and persona. Your individual strength comes from your deep understanding of sorrow and happiness. Your insight into each remark and the innuendos of word meanings and body language is something most have never experienced.

During and after your presentation, I found myself truly challenged on how I see myself and the world around me. Rarely does a presentation have such an impact on so many lives.

On behalf of the Student Life Diversity Committee at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, I would like to highly recommend the diversity training opportunities given to us by StirFry Seminars and Lee Mun Wah. Lee Mun Wah came to our campus and tailored a two-day program to our specific needs in a session where we enhanced our skills as diversity trainers. Some of the reactions to our workshop are encompassed in the following quotes from participants:

“There is so much that I valued about this workshop - I learned so much about myself and my personal facilitation style, was able to take risks in a controlled and safe environment, and more importantly was given the chance to tackle my issues with racism head on.”

“I felt the workshop, and Mun Wah, were very genuine.”

“The training really pushed us to examine ourselves, thought processes, and being observant of others.”

The University of Utah has benefited immeasurably from working with Lee Mun Wah and StirFry Seminars.

In a time when we are experiencing attacks on being inclusive in our organizations throughout the country, and when issues of campus climate can have profound impacts on any      individual’s transition to a predominantly white campus, the workshops of Lee Mun Wah and StirFry Seminars have provided the tools for us to increase awareness on our campus and provide forums for people to genuinely listen to one another.
